69 Ferrari 365 GTC 12127
This particular Ferrari left the factory February 10, 1969. The original colors were Grigio Ortello/Pella Nero.Factory installed air conditioning with Borrani wheels. The Ferrari was registered in Italy from February 12, 1969 to February 13, 1974, when it was exported to the United States.1976 it was repainted to red on black. From 1979 to 1988, the car passed through several dealers, which was very common at that point in time. This Ferrari is matching numbers with a Massini report.
In 2023 this 365 GTC participated in the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix Motorsport Festival. This 365 GTC was invited to the Hanger event among other selected cars. Ferrari & NART were honored. Luigi Chinetti & Rogér Andrey discussed their fathers' NART days. Luigi's father was the Ferrari importer. Rogér's father was a Ferrari dealer and drove for the Ferrari NART racing team.
History of this 365 GTC
In 1999 the car was purchased by Dr John J Oricchio. During his 16 years of ownership, the car went through an extensive restoration, stripped to bare metal, addressed cosmetics and interior. The Ferrari was purchased by well known collector and enthusiast in 2015. This owner's family has participated in several Mille Miglia's including one with Ferrari World Champion Phil Hill driving their Ferrari. That collectors Mille Miglia experience provided proper guidance for Paul Russell & Company
The previous owner invested $215,000 in total while in his collection. In 2016 the Ferrari was prepared for its first of several 1000 miles events. After this event the owner elected to have Paul Russell & Company sort his car in preparation for the 2017 "Going to the Sun" Vintage car Rally. 2018 Paul Russell & Company did a complete engine rebuild. The gear box was rebuilt. The a/c system and electrical system were updated to handle the demands of 1000 mile events
The interior is in very good condition. The cracks or pulls on the dash. The wood insert on the dashboard are in excellent condition. The chrome is in great condition with no pitting or rust.
Dr John J Oricchio in 2000 began the complete restoration. This was conducted by Automotive Restoration in Stratford, Connecticut. Mechanical work was performed Stonebridge sports and Classics in Bethel, Connecticut. In 2005 - 2006 areas were repaired where there was some rust and corrosion. Then the Ferrari was repainted, the chrome was redone and the Borrani wheels restored.

Auto Turismo maintained the car mechanically from 2007 until the car was purchased in 2015.
