Lotus 21/Alfa Romeo
Gaston Andrey developed the first dry sump engine for the Alfa Romeo. The engine was mounted on angle in the chassis lowering the center of gravity and reducing oil starvation. In the 65 season "Gus" won 12/out of 13 races .

Driving for the factory Auto Delta Team, "Gus has great success at Sebring. He went on to win the Trans Am Championship.

In "66" Gaston Andrey won the 12 Hrs of Sebring driving for the Alfa Romeo factory team Autodelta under the leadership of Carlo Chiti
70 - 72 Trans Am Era
Gaston Andrey ran in the Trans Am series with several wins in the Alfa Romeo GTA
69 Alfa Romeo Giulia Ti Alloy
This special built Giulia by Autodelta was driven by Gaston Andrey won the 1st IMSA race at Talladega in "69" in U2 liter class
