Gaston Andrey Motorsports has been selling the Ferrari 456 GT, 550 Maranello & 575 Maranello series since there debut
In 1992 Ferrari introduced the 456GT & 456M. Pietro Camardella and Lorenzo Ramaciotti at Pininfarina designed the original 456 which was available in GT and (from 1996) GTA forms. The difference in name signifies the transmission: the former has a six-speed manual and the latter has a four-speed automatic developed in partnership with FF Developments.
The Ferrari 550 Maranello was unveiled in July 1996 at the Nurburgring racing circuit in Germany. The Ferrari 550 Maranello is a V12 engine 2-seat touring car built by Ferrari from 1996 to 2001. The 550 Maranello marked Ferrari's return to the front engine rear wheel drive for its 2-seater 12-cylinder model, 23 years after the 365 GTB/4 Daytona. The Pininfarina-designed body had a chassis tubular steel space frame with aluminum body panels. In total 3,083 units of the 550 Maranello were produced.
550 Barchetta Ferrari introduced convertible version of the 550 at the Paris Motor Show in 2000. A total of 448 Barchetta’s were produced.
The Ferrari 575M Maranello was introduced in 2002. Updates from the 550 included a renewed interior, but with substantial improvements mechanically, including larger disc brakes and more powerful engine, improved balance, refined aerodynamics and fluid-dynamics and an adaptive suspension. Two six-speed transmissions were available, a conventional manual gearbox and, for the first time on a Ferrari V12 the Magneti Marelli semi-automatic F1. Ferrari produced 2,056 575M's F1 transmissions and 177 with manual transmission.
Ferrari Superamerica was a convertible version of the 575M Maranello; it featured an glass panel roof which rotated 180° (both are production car firsts) at the rear to lie flat over the boot. Patented Revocromico roof incorporates carbon fiber structure that is hinged on the single axis with a luggage compartment lid. A total of 559 Superamerica’s were built and only 43 of those had a manual gearbox.
